Job Description:

PUBLIC SERVICE Worker Position open for a full-time Public Service Worker. Position involves manual labor in the maintenance, repair and cleaning of streets, sewers and water systems, city buildings, park grounds, recreation equipment and refuse collection functions. Applicants with a mechanical background and/or fleet maintenance experience is highly desired. Operates light & heavy equipment with functions such as lawn mowing, snow plowing, leaf pick-up, collecting refuse and other duties. Employee must have ability to respond to emergencies after hours and work a schedule that may include evenings, weekends andholidays as operational/seasonal needs demand. Requirements: ~Must be a U.S. Citizen at least 18 yrs old ~ Possess avalid MI drivers license and satisfactory driving record with a CDL Class B w/ air brakes endorsement or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
