School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a licensed School Psychologist
to provide essential psychological services and support for
students. This contract position runs through June 11, 2026,
requiring an onsite presence during regular school hours (37.5
hours per week). The role focuses on assessing student needs,
developing intervention plans, and promoting mental health within
the school community. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological
assessments to evaluate student learning, behavior, and emotional
needs Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to
develop effective intervention strategies Monitor student progress
and adjust plans as needed to promote well-being and academic
success Provide consultative support to teachers and staff
regarding student challenges and mental health Maintain accurate
documentation and compliance with school policies and state
regulations Qualifications: Valid Michigan School Psychologist
Certification Experience working in school psychology, preferably
within K-12 educational settings Strong skills in psychological
assessment and intervention planning Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration Ability
to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
professionally Work Environment: Onsite position requiring
