We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced HR Manager located at our headquarters in Southfield Michigan. Reporting to the President & CEO, collaborating closely with senior leadership, the HR Manager is responsible for providing guidance and consultation on HR best practices and for ensuring the HR team members are providing the right level of support to their respective departments. This role has overall responsibility for recruitment and retention, employee communications and engagement, workforce planning, change management, training and development, payroll and employee benefits.

_*Key Responsibilities: *_

* Key leader in support of change management.
* Strong internal communications within the organization, ensures that employees are kept informed of company goals, objectives, and progress.
* Provides coaching, performance feedback, career counseling and development to HR Staff.
* Ensures proper compliance with all government laws and regulations and requirements, providing education and consultation to business leaders.
* Creates training programs designed to address key initiatives and/or compliance requirements for all levels of employees. Leads career development initiatives.
* Reviews, supports, and champions strategies for organizational structures, including succession planning, designed to further organizational development efforts.
* Recruits and develops retention plans to enable the success of the business. Develops and continually enhances a robust onboarding experience.
* Designs and facilitates creation of compensation structures, job bands, job analysis and job descriptions to develop a foundation for corporate growth and success.
* Responsible for the administration of, and regular assessment of benefit plans and 401(k). Promotes development, communication, and compliance of all benefit plans.
* Owns HRIS system and ensures technology is used to streamline HR processes.
* Understands and communicates human capital analytics to help manage business needs (i.e., benefit costs, cost per hire, time to fill, attrition, demographics, etc.).

*Education & Experience Required: *

* Bachelor's degree in relevant field required. Master's degree or advanced education/training in the HR field a plus. SHRM certifications a plus.
* Has a minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience as an HR Manager with oversight of a team of HR professionals and a focus on both HR strategy and HR operations.
* Strong working knowledge of payroll, benefit plan administration, employee relations, recruiting, retention, organization development, compliance, compensation and performance management.
* Adept at employee and policy development.
* Genuinely cares about people and employees, drives engagement and manages programs to meet business objectives and organization goals
* Approachable with outstanding interpersonal skills that enable interaction with people at all organization levels enabling collaboration with internal and external partners.
* Highly organized, with exceptional communication skills both oral and written.
* Demonstrated business acumen; effectively advocates human resource priorities in a business-focused manner.
* Builds organization capability through people and processes. Knows how to engage change to ensure continued business success, while supporting the strategic vision of the business.
* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Demonstrated knowledge of HR and timekeeping systems and a strong understanding of payroll/HR.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
