Evaluates consumers using the DSM-IV-TR and serves as the agency/program psychology consultant with specialized skills in the application of behavioral, sociological and psychological concepts in the planning of the delivery of mental health services.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Master's degree in a mental health related field from an accredited school.

Licenses and Credentials:

Must also have a valid Michigan Driver's license with a good driving record.

A licensed psychologist (LP).

Experience:

A minimum of three (2) years' experience in the human services field is expected. Professional clinical experience in working with mental health populations, particularly with developmental disabilities or severe mental illness, is preferred.

At least three years of full-time postdoctoral, post-internship experience in the practice of psychology involving either training, research, consultation, or program planning in the mental health services.
