Facility: - Covenant Children's Hospital is the region's leader in children's health care - A full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists - Inpatient and outpatient services, unique to the region - Specialized Pediatric Emergency Care Center - 55 bed Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level III), staffed 24 hours by neonatologists - 10 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Intensivists - Dedicated Pediatric Sedation Service for neurodiagnostic studies - Patient and Family Centered Care - Child Life Specialists - Center for Autism Opportunity: - Rapidly growing pediatric department in a new pediatric residency program - Fellowship-trained in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology is preferred. - Focus on providing care for both pediatric inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient service - Candidates must have exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching - Role includes resident and medical student education - Best suited for candidates who are at the assistant or associate professor level, but all ranks will be considered - Opportunity for EEG and sleep study interpretation is also available - Serving patients from a large geographic region of over 20 counties - Vast primary care referral network to support this position - Opportunity to teach, treat and lead positive change throughout the region - Time allocations for research and academic pursuits Compensation: - Excellent compensation package based on MGMA private practice benchmarks (with incentive opportunity). - Commencement bonus - Relocation assistance - Excellent benefits package - CME allowance with (5) five days - Malpractice/liability - License(s) expense - Four (4) weeks of PTO
