About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with United Health
Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in
pontiac, Michigan, 48340! Registered Nurse - ICU Location: Pontiac,
MI Start Date: 02-03-2026 End Date: 05-05-2026 Contract Type:
Travel Contract Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (day and
night); 36-hour weekly guarantee. Exact start/end times vary by
schedule and may include weekend coverage. Schedule requires
floating between ICU and Step-down as needed. Hours per Week: 36

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Provide compassionate,
high-quality care to critically ill patients from adolescent to
geriatric Develop, coordinate and deliver individualized nursing
care plans in ICU and Step-down settings Manage a broad range of
diagnoses including medical, surgical, cardiac and neurosurgical
patients Supervise and mentor CNAs, LPNs and other assigned health
care workers to ensure safe patient care Maintain professional
nursing standards and comply with facility policies and protocols
Complete required skills checklist and maintain current ACLS and
BLS certifications Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to
ensure smooth care transitions between ICU and Step-down
Qualifications Active Michigan RN license required with LARA and
Nursys verification Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Travel nursing
experience preferred Comfortable floating between ICU and Step-down
(SDU) as part of regular assignment Ability to supervise CNA/LPN
staff and coordinate patient care effectively Skills checklist
completed within the last year for RN specialties Knowledge &
Skills Strong critical care nursing knowledge and ICU/Step-down
experience Ability to manage complex medical, surgical, cardiac and
neurosurgical cases Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring and
prioritization in high acuity settings Competence supervising and
delegating to support staff Familiarity with unit-based policies,
documentation standards and safety practices Adaptability to float
