Start: As Soon As Possible Schedule: All shifts, all days of the
week (flexible scheduling required) Job Summary The Phlebotomist
(Traveler) serves as the face of the organization for patients
seeking routine care or critical diagnostic insights. This role is
responsible for drawing quality blood samples , preparing specimens
for laboratory testing, and ensuring a professional, safe, and
compassionate patient experience while maintaining strict standards
for accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
Draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner
following established procedures Prepare specimens for laboratory
testing and maintain required records and documentation Verify
patient demographic information and obtain patient signature
post-venipuncture to confirm proper labeling Perform both forensic
and clinical specimen collection and processing duties Maintain a
safe, clean, and professional work environment Communicate
procedures clearly to patients to foster trust and confidence
Demonstrate leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence
and patient confidentiality Perform daily activities accurately and
on time under the direction of the area supervisor Promote a
positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees,
and the public Required Qualifications 2–3 years of phlebotomy
experience Proven ability to deliver error-free work in a
fast-paced environment Excellent phlebotomy skills, including
pediatric and geriatric collections Ability to work independently
with minimal on-site supervision Strong organizational skills with
the ability to manage multiple priorities Superior customer focus
and professional communication skills Ability to make decisions
based on established procedures and sound judgment Licensing,
Travel & Availability Requirements Reliable personal transportation
required (bus, Uber, or rideshare not considered reliable
transportation ) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record,
if applicable Flexible availability including weekends, holidays,
on-call, overtime , and short-notice location changes Must be
punctual, work full scheduled shifts, and maintain acceptable
attendance standards Training locations may vary based on trainer
availability Preferred Qualifications Epic experience preferred
Work Environment High-volume clinical settings including patient
service centers and in-office phlebotomy locations Frequent direct
patient interaction Traveler role with potential multi-site
